9/11 Memorial Poster Exhibition

Through September

In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, the 9/11 Memorial and Museum is offering libraries a free digital poster exhibition and resources, “September 11, 2001: The Day That Changed the World.”

This educational exhibition recounts the events of September 11, 2001, through the personal stories of those who witnessed and survived the attacks.

September Take-and-Make DIY

Monday, September 13 – Thursday, September 30

This month’s DIY is Sequin Polka Dot Pumpkins. Patrons can reserve one by calling the library or requesting one at the desk. Available while supplies last.

“Mom’s Gift” Tipton Community Theater Display

Through September

The library is partnering with Tipton Community Theater with a display of materials related to their upcoming production of “Mom’s Gift.”
Summary of play: Mom has been dead for 11 months and shows up at her husband’s birthday party as a ghost with a mission. Like Clarence in “It’s A Wonderful Life,” she has to accomplish a task to earn her wings. But the task is a mystery. One by one family’s secrets are peeled away revealing a shocking truth that surprises even our ghost.
Performance Dates: September 24-25-26

National Voter Registration Day

September 13th – 30th

This year, National Voter Registration Day will take place on September 28th. In most of Indiana, voter registration will be open during all of 2021 since there are no regularly scheduled elections in most of the state. Plan for 2022 by picking up a voter registration form! Online voter registration assistance is also available.

Free Bob Ross Painting Class
