Genealogy 101

Family History Research

Amber Oldenburg is a genealogist and lecturer with a degree in Family History research from Brigham Young University. She is the Central Director for the Indiana Genealogical Society. She specializes in United States Midwest research.

Learn basic resources that family historians use to construct family trees and tell the stories of their ancestors. The presentation will cover basic methodology, major record groups, and how to effectively search these record groups.

You will learn how to hand or machine quilt while making a table runner. Register for classes & pick up a supply list at the Circulation desk. There is a $10 fee for provided materials.
