Reserve a Space at Tipton County Public Library

Whether you’re planning a large community event, a professional conference, or a quiet study session, the Tipton County Public Library offers the perfect setting. We are committed to access, providing a variety of comfortable, equipped, and easily reservable spaces for every need.

Our goal is to empower your success and maximize your impact, ensuring you have the technology and the environment to achieve your goals. More than just rooms, our spaces are designed to foster a sense of belonging and encourage genuine connection among community members, making the library a welcoming hub for all your meetings and gatherings. 

Meeting Rooms

The Community Room is our largest gathering space, conveniently located to the right as you enter the foyer. It comfortably accommodates groups of all sizes and is ideal for community events, workshops, social gatherings, and organizational meetings.

  • Capacity: Up to 50 people
  • Reservations: First-come, first-served
  • Rental Fee: $64.20 (for social or for-profit gatherings; exemptions are made for not-for-profit organizations and government organizations).
  • With Kitchenette: $80.25 includes use of the small kitchenette, available at additional cost
  • Payment: Cash, check, or credit card accepted
  • Damage Deposit: $60.00 (paid by check), exemptions available for government organizations

All fees and the damage deposit are due at least one week prior to the scheduled reservation.

The Conference Room offers a professional setting for meetings, interviews, and small-group collaboration. It features a large conference table that comfortably seats 8, with a total of 10 chairs available.

  • Capacity: Up to 10 people (8 at the conference table)
  • Hours: Monday–Thursday, 9:45 a.m.–7:45 p.m. | Friday–Saturday, 9:45 a.m.–4:45 p.m.
  • Reservations: Up to one week in advance | Groups of 6 or more receive priority booking
  • Reservation Limit: Two (2) reservations per month for community groups or organizations
  • Booking Blocks: Two-hour blocks, with 15 minutes between each block
  • Rental Fee: No charge

The Conference Room is kept locked when not in use. Please stop at the main service desk at least 15 minutes before your reservation time to gain access.

Study Rooms

The Casual Lounge is a relaxed small-group space perfect for study sessions, tutoring, or informal meetings. It features seating for 4–5 people in a comfortable, low-key environment.

  • Capacity: Up to 5 people
  • Hours: Monday–Thursday, 9:45 a.m.–7:45 p.m. | Friday–Saturday, 9:45 a.m.–4:45 p.m.
  • Reservations: First-come, first-served
  • Reservation Limit: Two (2) reservations per month for community groups, organizations, and homeschool groups
  • Booking Blocks: Two-hour blocks, with 15 minutes between each block
  • Please Note: Reservations end 15 minutes before the library closes, regardless of start time

  • Reservations: First-come, first-served
  • Reservation Limit: Two (2) reservations per month for community groups, organizations, and homeschool groups
  • Booking Blocks: Two-hour blocks, with 15 minutes between each block

Creation Station

The Creation Station is a versatile, open workspace with four large tables, each seating up to eight people, accommodating groups of up to 32 in total. It is ideal for creative projects, workshops, classes, and collaborative activities of all kinds.

  • Capacity: Up to 32 people (four tables, 8 seats each)
  • Hours: Monday–Thursday, 9:45 a.m.–7:45 p.m. | Friday–Saturday, 9:45 a.m.–4:45 p.m.
  • Reservations: First-come, first-served
  • Reservation Limit: Two (2) reservations per month for community groups, organizations, and homeschool groups
  • Booking Blocks: Two-hour blocks, with 15 minutes between each block
  • Please Note: Library programs take priority over public reservations. Reservations end 15 minutes before the library closes, regardless of start time.
