Program Timeline and Registration: The 2026 Summer Reading Program runs from July 1 to July 31. You can register your child and pick up their Reading Log at the TCPL Main Library or Windfall Branch Library.
Grand Prize Limits: Each child may redeem only one finished reading log to be entered into the grand prize drawing. A second log can be completed for extra prizes, but it will not count toward an additional grand prize entry.
Kickoff Events: We encourage you to attend one of our Kickoff Events to start the fun: Windfall is on Wednesday, July 1, from 4–6 pm, and Tipton is on Monday, July 6, from 4–6 pm
We encourage children to read on their own as much as possible. We also encourage them to read within their reading levels. Parents of young, non-readers may read to their child and count that time on the Reading Log. If a sibling reads to a younger sibling, each child can log minutes for the shared book. Remember to have FUN! If your child needs help finding a book to read, please ask the Children’s Department for assistance. We love helping kids find books that they will enjoy!
